View Article  Attention: developers

Please, if you made, make or going to make software which works with dates in ISO 8601 format, remember this:

  1. YYYYMMDDThh:mm:ssTZD
  2. If it has Z in the end: 20050109T01:44:10Z then the time is UTC.
  3. If it has a timezone in the end: 20050109T04:44:10+03:00 then the time is local time.
  4. The time on your server is not necessary the UTC time.
  5. Test it with different time zones!

Thanks for your attention. Have a nice rewriting.

View Article  Nice words

I really love such words from users:

“I've been slacking in the blog department lately, but not because I don't have anything to say, complain about, or brag about.  There's plenty of that - I just haven't had one critical piece of software, BlogJet.

Do you miss those SAT-style analogies?  Here's one for you... BlogJet : Blogging :: Word Processing : Letters.  Blogging without BlogJet? Just not worth it. Ok, enough of that and onto the meaty stuff...”

Thanks, Paul!

Today doctors discovered that it was not chickenpox that hit me on September—it was some sort of viral hemorrhagic fever with kidney failure. Luckily, I almost recovered, while 5 of 100 people dies of this fever.

The virus is carried in rodent reservoirs, so I wonder if it was my computer mouse who infected me  Anyway, now I try to use touchpad instead of mouse since I bought a laptop to code BlogJet while lying in bed. The new version—BlogJet 1.2 beta—will be available this or next week.

Wow. I never expected Green Day would put out an album as great as this. I've been listening to it practically non-stop for three days.

Wow x 2. I never expected Nick likes Green Day too . Didn’t I said that I was the creator of the most popular Russian websites about Green Day a few years ago?

Some news about me here: I’m sick of chickenpox and have complications with kidneys. So it will take more time to recover than I thought. I’m lying in bed all the time, spending days at hospital. But I feel better now.

Sorry for not anwering — I will reply on forum and emails as soon as I get well.
